This house is in Strathern, a very up and coming neighbourhood, which already has many high-end builds with amazing views of downtown. Our clients are a young couple, mobile mortgage advisors and they wanted a minimalistic look. The property is a 4-storey In-fill, including a rental unit in the basement and FLIS Interior Design worked on this project with the clients from start to finish, selecting all interior and exterior finishes.

 

Both our clients work from home and spend most of their day in the office. Each having their own distinctive style, we did his and hers offices. He loves golf, so we did a golf theme in his office with pictures of famous golfers and a green sofa to mimic the green fairway. His office is located on the 3rd floor and he also wanted it to function as a hang out with his friends, so right outside his double-door office is a little lounge area with a bar, TV and games area. Her office is located on the main floor and she is more girly and wanted a white and gold office with a feminine touch. We kept the colours quite pastel and used a glass office desk and gold mesh chair to enhance the airy feeling in the room, anchoring it with a bold black and white area rug under the desk.

 

Overall, throughout the property our clients wanted a neutral palette – comfortable, but modern and high-end.
